Corrections Policy
Effective date: November 16, 2026
TRENDY PSYOPS corrects mistakes in public. That matters most for Red Mirror and any post that evaluates claims, documents, or “intel” circulating online.
What we correct
- Factual errors (names, dates, figures, who said what)
- Broken or misrepresented citations
- Misleading headlines or summaries that overclaim the evidence
- Context omissions that change the meaning of a quoted claim
What a correction looks like
- We update the article body as soon as practical.
- We add a dated Correction or Update note near the top (or directly under the affected section for long pieces), stating what was wrong and what is right.
- We do not silently rewrite history on fact-check posts. If an error was substantive, the note stays visible.
Clarifications vs corrections
A clarification adds context without admitting a false statement. A correction fixes something that was wrong. We label them accordingly.
Sources and standards (Red Mirror)
We prefer primary documents, reputable newsrooms, and named fact-checking organisations. We use language like “the site claims” and “posts asserted” when attribution is incomplete. We do not invent operators, funders, or intent without evidence.
How to request a correction
Email admin@trendypsyops.com with:
- The article URL
- The passage you believe is wrong
- The correct information
- A source link or document, if available
We aim to respond within 2–3 business days. Good-faith requests from subjects of coverage and from readers are welcome. Abuse, threats, or coordinated harassment will be ignored and may be reported.
Retractions
If a piece is fundamentally unreliable, we will retract it, explain why, and leave a public note at the original URL when the platform allows.
