Disclosure Policy

Effective date: November 16, 2026

TRENDY PSYOPS (trendypsyops.com) is an independent defence, aerospace, AI, and information-operations blog run by Etienne Matuszewski and based in Canada. This page explains how we handle advertising, sponsorships, affiliates, and gifts so readers can judge our incentives.

Advertising

This site may display third-party ads, including Google AdSense or similar networks. Ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve interest-related ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on cookies, analytics, and your choices.

We do not allow advertisers to dictate conclusions in news, analysis, or Red Mirror fact-check pieces. Ads are labeled by the network or by us as advertising.

Sponsored posts and brand partnerships

If a company, agency, or organisation pays for a post, newsletter mention, or dedicated landing page, we will disclose that relationship clearly at the top of the content (for example: “Sponsored by [Name]” or “Paid partnership with [Name]”).

Sponsored material will not be presented as independent reporting. We may decline sponsorships that conflict with our editorial standards or that ask us to publish claims we cannot source.

Affiliate links

Some posts may include affiliate links (including Amazon or other retailers). If you buy through those links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When a post contains affiliate links, we will say so in the article.

Gifts, review units, and travel

If we receive a product, access pass, travel support, or other material gift in connection with coverage, we will disclose it in the relevant piece. Acceptance of a gift does not guarantee favourable coverage.

Editorial independence

Opinion, analysis, and the Red Mirror series reflect the author’s judgment and cited sources. Defence-industry advertisers and sponsors do not get pre-publication approval of conclusions. Corrections are handled under our Corrections Policy.

Contact

Questions about disclosures, sponsorship rates, or media kits: admin@trendypsyops.com (Proton Mail). We aim to reply within 2–3 business days.

This disclosure is intended to meet common expectations for AdSense-ready sites and forthcoming sponsor outreach. It may be updated; the effective date above will change when it is.

Propaganda, held to the light

Red Mirror #1: Deagel.com

Deagel.com is the site whose doomsday population “forecasts” keep resurfacing online, including a claim that the US population would collapse to about 99.5 million. That claim has been fact-checked and debunked many times. The column will not repeat the myth. It looks at why the myth spreads, who benefits from it, and what the playbook teaches about every claim like it that comes next.
